It doesn't look like much from the outside, or the inside for that matter, but it's mainly about how the food tastes and it was delicious! I ordered the #13, Chicken Steak with Rice. The portion was very generous, priced well, and includes tip. I mean look at the plate of food and see for yourself. That green sauce is hot with a fantastic taste. The rice and chicken were flavorful and the meal comes with a bottle of water. The waiter was very pleasant and tried to make sure I enjoyed my experience. The restaurant was clean and the other customers seemed to be regulars there. I'm glad I had my first Somalian food experience here!

It was our 1st time eating at a Somalian restaurant and it was a fun experience. Our server was absolutely wonderful and helpful. What makes this place just extra special is every table is given a pitcher of Lemonade free and every meal is $13 and includes tax/tip. We ordered 4 meals to share between our 4 adults and 1 child.

Interesting experience. Judging from the clientele, it's very authentic. Little hole in the wall with minimal atmosphere. Food is plentiful and spicy. Pleasant service.

I was coming from California Bay area and noticed this place after I stopped by A&H Merkato down the street and was told this is a great place to eat. I stopped by and ordered the rice with chicken and kept coming back for 2 days straight. Make sure to try out the soup too. Great place to come and eat and the owner is a great person. BEST PLACE

Stopped in with a buddy for lunch after some friends recommended this place. Couldn't have been a better first experience with Somalian food. The staff were super friendly and guided us through what to order and how to eat it. Food was outstanding. I had a beautiful piece of fish that was seasoned and spiced to perfection. Portions were big and the prices extremely reasonable. I'll definitely be going back.

I was in the area to eat Vietnamese nearby. I saw this place at the far end of the strip mall and after a quick search realized they serve Somali food. I like to consider my palate well travelled, but this was my first ever opportunity to dine at a Somali restaurant. It's definitely a hole in the wall, I was the only non Somali in the place, but everyone was super welcoming. The food is a bit like North African meets Ethiopian/Indian. The rice was excellent with strong cardomom notes. I had the chicken steak and it was well flavored. The green sauce they'll serve with the food is HOT and I love spicy food. The white is your classic yogurt sauce. Note the special breads are only served for breakfast along with the stews. Dinner you'll be choosing from fish, chicken or goat to go with rice. I'll be back to try some of the other items along with their version of Ethiopian injera bread. 10/10 just be aware it's a total hole in the wall dive.

I frequently visit Ving Long which is located in the same strip mall as Ramadan. Today I decided to stop by. I thought the restaurant may have been another Kurdish restaurant, but it ended up being Somali. This is good as I had never had Somali food before. The menu is printed on the wall inside and on the outside window. I had the goat and rice. The goat was on the bone and tender. It was a plentiful portion. The flavor profile was a hybrid, in my non expert option, between middle eastern and Indian. I thought it was very good. There was a little bit of spice and some good sauces to add that seemed to be yogurt based. Ramadan was definitely a hole in the wall type place with blacked out windows which wasn't overly inviting from the outside. I was the only non Somali there. The waiter was nice. I had a good experience and would return.
